Geography

The Abattoir world is quite large, and new lands are being discovered all the time by intrepid adventurers. Learning to explore is perhaps the first skill a new player should attempt to acquire, as a firm knowledge of the surrounding lands is a vital requirement in the quest for glory and riches.

Directions

Sadly, most cartographers are not as bold or mighty as adventurers, and few maps are made of anywhere beyond the safety of a city wall. However, word of mouth travels fast, and directions to most areas, especially the safer or nearer ones, are well-known. Unless otherwise noted, directions are given relative to Center Square in Saerdoun.

To get to Center Square from the Monastery, travel west to The Old Road, then generally southward to Saerdoun and south on High Road to the Square.

Annapolis Asylum Portal located in Zulpair's tower on Havoc Road in Kylslayn
Chapel Catacombs Below the Chapel in the southern part of the Graveyard.
City of Aquantis Rumoured to have been lost beneath the Bitter Sea, aeons past.
Dragon Exports Located on Slaughter Ave. in Kylslayn.
Dwarven Daycare Located down from the top of Dwarven Mountain.
Dwarven Mountain From the Monastery, go west to the Old Road, then Northward to the first northeast exit
Firetop Mountain Travel out the north gate of Kylslayn until the path leads west, follow the trail to the mountain.
Four Winds Carnival Outside Saerdoun, to the southwest.
Gilgamesh's Tower Located off of Kingsway Ave.
Gnome Lab Located in the Shattered Refuge.
Graveyard West from the Monastery along the Pixie Trail to a south exit.
Grey Fox Forest Near Saerdoun, roughly north of the north-western gate.
Haon Dor Travel west on Delzorn Street to the Western Gate. Follow the trail to the forest.
Hayholt Located west of Skolville.
Highland Brothers From slightly west of the Monastery, travel south on The Old Road to the first east exit, then northeast.
Holy Grove From the crossroads on the hilltop in Miden'nir travel east.
Johan's Quests Go west of the Monastery to the Old Road, then travel south on The Old Road to a northeast exit.
Krystalmyst Mountains From the entrance to the pixie forest, travel north to the small pond, then travel west to the moutnains.

Lair Of The Ogre King Located in the forest of Haon Dor.

Midgett Key Travel east on Delzorn Street, then navigate the Bay of Mermaids.
Mist Of The Sea Travel east on Delzorn Street to the Docks, then travel south on the docks to the long pier. The boat is at the end of the boarding plank.
Pixie Forest West from the Monastery along the Pixie Trail.
Plant Evolution Located in the forest of Haon Dor.
Prisoners Tomb Located out the north gate of Saerdoun.
Redferne's Residence Southwest of the city of Kylslayn.
Refuge Cottage Just off the main path through the Pixie Forest.
Ruins Of Imrannath Located out the south gate of Kylslayn.
Saerdoun From west of the Monastery, go all south on The Old Road, just across the bridge.
School for Wayward Boys South on The Old Road west of the Monastery to the second west exit.
Sewers Located outside the Southern gate of Kylslayn.
Shattered Refuge From the crossroads on the hilltop in Miden'nir travel south and east.
Skolville Travel west of Saerdoun until you reach the colossal tree, then go south and continue west to the city gates.
The Astral Plane Portal located in Zulpair's Tower on Havoc Road in Kylslayn.
The Besieged Castle Located out the north gate of Kylslayn.
The Bitter Sea Travel east beyond Midgett Key
The Chessboard Of The Gods Located in the forest of Haon Dor.
The City Of Flint Was known to be once located between the cities of Skolville and Saerdoun.
The Crorne Forest Travel south on High Road to the Southwestern Gate. Follow the trail to the southwest.
The Duchy Of Kylslayn Go west to the Old Road, then follow the road northwards to the crossroads, then generally west.
The Elvish Tree-city From west of the Monastery, travel south on The Old Road to the third west exit.
The Garden Maze Entrance lies in the courtyard of the Castle in the city of Saerdoun.
The Gautier Residence Located on Kingsway Ave.
The Hydra Caverns Located out the south gate of Kylslayn.
The Keep Of The Warlock Located out the west gate of Kylslayn.
The Lost Temple Of Kalendrillus In the mountains north of the Pixie Forest.
The Monastery Travel west on Delzorn Street to the Street of the Sword, then travel north. The Monastery will be on the east side of the road.
The Patsian Dig Project Just outside the south-eastern gate of Saerdoun.
The Pyramid Of Nakara From the desert near the Patsian Dig Project travel west.
The Temple Of Kain Located in the bowels of the Warlock's Keep
The Town Of Kalm Located northeast of Hayholt.
The Williams' House From west of the Monastery, travel south on The Old Road to the first east exit.
Tower Of The Nine Hells Located on the Kylslayn River.
Traders Place Located in the Crorne Forest.
Trails To War Located in the forest of Haon Dor
Tullfuhrzky Manor From the entrance to the Pixie forest travel north to the small pond. Then travel east. Manor is on a hill.
Unholy Grounds From west of the Monastery, go south on The Old Road to the second east exit.
